Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, including commercial buildings, food processing facilities, warehouses, and more.
This is a physically demanding role that may require heavy lifting and working in different environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Follow proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery as needed
- Assist with fabricating and maintaining cleanliness in food production areas
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required in warehouses or manufacturing facilities
Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with food processing regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
